What the Academy stores

Account name, email address, password hash, verification and recovery records, security sessions, enrollment, lesson progress, assessment scores, course completions, earned achievements, written fieldwork and graduate submissions, and—when used—faculty qualification attempts, applications, appointment decisions, scoped permissions, and audit history.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the application, Neon hosts the production database, and Resend delivers transactional account email. The Academy does not authorize these providers to sell scholar information.

What the Academy does not do

The service has no advertising, behavioral analytics, paid membership, affiliate sales, or sale of personal information. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes and are never included in data exports.

Your controls

Signed-in scholars can download their Academy data, change their password, revoke other sessions, and permanently delete their account and associated Academy records from the Account page.

Age and sensitive information

Accounts are limited to people age 13 or older. Do not submit government identifiers, precise location, medical information, private third-party correspondence, or other sensitive personal information in coursework or faculty applications.

Operational retention

Short-lived verification and recovery tokens expire automatically. Security rate-limit records are operational safeguards. Backups may retain deleted records temporarily until their ordinary protected rotation expires.
